TMTA math competition brings top students to Vol State
The Tennessee Math Teachers Association held a regional math competition at Volunteer State Community College last week. Hundreds of students from schools across the area competed in the following categories: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Statistics, Precalculus and Calculus and Advanced Topics. Winners will go on to compete in the state competition. The schools participating included: Aaron Academy, Wilson Central High School, Hendersonville High School, Station Camp High School, Gallatin High School, Sumner Academy, Davidson Academy, Pope John Paul II, Merrol Hyde Magnet School and Portland High School.
