Job Description

Description: This role will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative functions within a logistics environment to an Executive Team.

Essential Functions: Responsibilities include assisting Executive Team with daily scheduling, meetings, and travel arrangements; preparing expense reports; monitoring multiline phone system and routing callers to appropriate personnel; responding to customer/vendor inquires; assisting new employees; greeting/escorting visitors; accounts receivable and accounts payable functions; payroll; compiling data for reports; general filing and records maintenance; distributing mail; preparing/editing presentations; transcribing meeting minutes; assisting with interviewing process; procures office supplies and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication through various media; computer literacy within Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point; superior time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and business acumen; strong attention to detail; professional demeanor; ability to handle confidential information; High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum two years of experience or equivalent college level education within related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience and knowledge of logistics or warehousing environments, specifically 3PLs.
