Current Students – More In-Person Classes this Fall

Vol State Gallatin campus

Vol State is looking forward to welcoming students back with more in-person classes this fall!

The schedules for Summer and Fall 2021 classes are available now on My Vol State and in Degree Works to help you prepare for current student Priority Registration which starts April 5 for sophomores and April 6 for freshmen.

The college will be expanding the number of on-ground classes available on all four campuses for the fall semester while also offering online classes for students who still want that format. As classes in each format fill, we will be watching and looking to add additional sections, as possible. This is our way of trying to give students classes in the format they want in the fall. That also makes it more important for students to REGISTER IN APRIL for fall classes because it will be harder for us to add new classes in August. Summer classes will be primarily online.

It is also time to make an appointment to meet virtually with your academic advisor. They will help you decide what classes you should take for the summer and fall semesters. Email or call your advisor to set up an appointment. As a reminder, your assigned advisor is listed at the top of Degree Works.

New freshmen students will register later with the Campus Connect orientation sessions. Keep an eye on your Vol State student email for details.
