ADVANTAGES OF CTE Program of Study ARTICULATION

• Saves money. Students may enter college with 3-9 free articulated credits saving all tuition/fees costs for those courses.
• Saves time. Students who start college with credits can finish a certificate or degree program in less time, especially if the student also takes advantage of dual enrollment and/or distance learning opportunities.

TO RECEIVE ARTICULATION CREDIT

• Apply for college admission within 2 years of high school graduation
• Achieve at least a “B” average (3.0) in the high school course to be articulated
• Notify the Coordinator at Volunteer State Community College and have a completed articulation application on file. Applications available in Admissions Office of VSCC. (Call 615-230-3742 or email sandra.black@volstate.edu)
