To raise and administer funds to support the educational objectives of Volunteer State Community College and to solicit the active involvement of all communities within our service area.
Our "Why"
At some point in life, each of us has been lifted by someone—a teacher, a mentor, or even a stranger—who helped us reach our goals. At Volunteer State College Foundation, we strive to be that helping hand for students who dream of a college education but face financial barriers.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we award over 200 scholarships each year. During the 2025-2026 academic year, over $601,000 was given in student support. Over the past 20 years, the Foundation has awarded more than 4,100 scholarships and raised over $20 million to invest in our community's future.
