Welcome to Volunteer State Community College Office of Disability Services. We provide services to students with disabilities as well as information for faculty and the community. Students must Register, and provide appropriate supporting documentation with our office, in order to receive services. Disability Services Mission:
In support of the college’s mission as a public, comprehensive community college, the Office of Disability Services ensures equal access to all campus programs and activities. The office promotes full participation in campus life for individuals with disabilities. Accommodations and support services are provided to students with disabilities who register with the office. Services are provided to assist students in obtaining their academic and personal goals. Assistance is provided in a collaborative way as to empower students to advocate for their needs and assume responsibility for their academic outcomes.

Directions:
From Gallatin Road: Coming North on Gallatin Rd. into Gallatin (from Hendersonville) turn left onto "Howard George Blvd; there will be a McDonalds on your right and a fire station on your left. If you are coming South on Gallatin Rd. (from Gallatin) take a right onto Howard George Blvd. When you come to your first four-way intersection take a left. The Randy & Louis Wood Campus Center will be the second building on your right. Enter the building through the double doors facing the parking lot and take a right. The Disability Services Office is the second door on your right.
From the bookstore:
Exit the book store and take a left. Take either the elevator or stairs at the end of the hallway to the ground floor. When you exit the elevator take a right and the Disability Services Office is the first office on your right. If you exit the stairwell take a left and the office is the first one on your right.
