About Volunteer State Community College at Livingston
Volunteer State at Livingston is a full service degree-granting off-campus location of Volunteer State Community College. We offer the Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees. We also have general education, vocational and career development courses. Some programs may involve students starting with general education classes in Livingston, and then moving to program specific courses on the main campus in Gallatin. Courses are scheduled in the day and in the evening. Classes are also available through the College@Home program, which provides courses on video, CD ROM, and Online.
Volunteer State at Livingston offers a range of student support, including the Newskills Center, which offers basic skill testing and developmental help in English and math. All Volunteer State admissions requirements, fees, and policies apply to students enrolled at the Volunteer State at Livingston. Academic advisement in course selection, placement testing, counseling and sale of textbooks is also available in Livingston.
College personnel are available Monday through Thursday until 9:00 p.m. (while classes are in session) and until 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
