Volunteer State Community College has a fitness center located in room 105 of the Wesley Pickel Field House. It has a variety of equipment for students and faculty to use, including treadmills, exercise bikes, cross trainers, and weights. It also has stations for biceps, abdominal crunches, seated leg curls, leg extensions, biangular shoulder presses, seated leg presses, and triceps extensions.

The Vol State Fitness Trail is a mulched walkway that runs from the Tennis Courts and along the creek on the backside of the college. It is equipped with several fitness stops -- simple equipment you can use to boost your workout.
