The Journalism area of emphasis prepares students for transfer to a university program in print or online journalism.
Recent graduates have been employed at the Tennessean, The Gallatin Newspaper, Gallatin News Examiner, Hendersonville Star-News, Bowling Green Daily News, WKU College Heights Herald, Macon County Chronicle, MTSU Sidelines, and Wilson Post.
Journalism opportunities on campus include the online student-written newspaper, The Pioneer Press.
