ESOL Classes
Volunteer State Community College offers English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for non-native speakers of English.
English language instruction is also often called ESL.
The College has college-level classes in intermediate-level and advanced-level English writing, in reading and vocabulary development, conversation, and in listening and speaking. The goal of these classes is to better prepare non-native students to succeed in the American college classroom. Call (615) 230-3201 for information.
Vol State also offers non-credit ESOL classes through Continuing Education. Many students find these classes to be a less expensive option.
For details on ESOL classes please visit the Office of Advising, room 174 of the Ramer Building or call (615) 230-3702. Para Español (615) 230-4846.
