Want to Earn College Credit Between Semesters? Here’s your chance to earn class credit in a mini-semester session!
Earn college credit when you are home for winter break. A Winter Session class can help you keep up the momentum and accelerate your graduation!
Winter Session Classes will be online and will be offered from December 16, 2022 – January 11, 2023. Winter Session academic support offerings include Tutor.com, a 24/7 support service, Vol State’s IT Help Desk for technical support needs, and, of course, regular support from your instructor.

Registration for current students begins on October 31.
Your first step is to complete a new Spring 2023 application. Registration opens November 14.

If you are interested in financial aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (615) 230-3456 or via email at email@example.com. For students who plan to enroll full-time in Spring semester, financial aid for Winter Session will be included in the Spring semester.
How To Register
Once you've logged in to My Vol State, select "Advising & Registration".
From there, select "Add or Drop Classes".
In Schedule Planner, you will first need to Select Spring Term 2023 since Winter Session is part of that term.
After indicating the location and method, you can select “Add Course”.
Or, you can select “Parts of Term” and will then see “Winter Session” as an option.
