Volunteer State Community College Springfield is a public, comprehensive community college offering five complete Associate degree programs and a variety of general education classes.

Vol State Springfield’s campus features a 25,000 square foot, two-story building, including classrooms and labs with integrated technology, a multi-purpose room, a student pantry called The Feed, a student lounge, a library, a Learning Commons for testing and tutoring services, and many faculty and staff offices. At Vol State Springfield, we are committed to providing high-quality educational programs, strengthening community and workforce partnerships in Robertson County, inspiring life-long learning, and preparing students for successful careers, university transfer, and meaningful citizenship in a global society.

Campus is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Vol State and UT-Martin offers joint bachelor's degree in Robertson County

Vol State and UT Martin announced plans for a pathway toward a bachelor’s degree in Roberston County! Courses will be on-site at Vol State’s Springfield Campus. Some coursework will be experiential learning, offered at a farm.

This partnership allows students to earn a full bachelor's degree without leaving Robertson County.

Campus Offerings

Volunteer State Community College is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission to offer the following programs at the Springfield Center. Each semester's course offerings are based on pathway sequencing and are subject to enrollment minimums. Check with your advisor for additional details.

 

SACSCOC Accreditation

Volunteer State Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees. Volunteer State Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
