The Ambassadors represent the college and Foundation at events, assist with community engagement, and help with public relations. Students selected for the President’s Ambassadors scholarship program go through a rigorous vetting and interview process. Successful candidates are selected from over two thousand eligible students. To be eligible for the program students must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average and have completed at least 12 college-level credit hours at Vol State. This is a full-tuition, last-dollar scholarship, covering all fees at the in-state rate, plus a $2,000 stipend per Fall and Spring semesters. Selected students serve a one-year term, completing 20 hours in the Summer and 40 service hours per Fall and Spring semesters. For additional details, please see the President Ambassidors Duties and Responsibilities.
Note: this scholarship cannot be combined with any other institutional or Foundation scholarships
