The Grants Management function, housed within the Office of the Vice President for Research, Assessment, and Special Initiatives (RASI), provides comprehensive administrative oversight for all grant activities throughout the entire grant lifecycle - from pre-award through closeout.
External Agencies/Institutions Seeking Vol State as a Grant Partner
Volunteer State Community College values partnerships that advance student success and community impact. To initiate a grant partnership request:
- Complete the “Grant Partnership Request – External” form (link below).
- Share additional grant information and questions to grants@volstate.edu.
- Leadership will review your request, and the Grants Administrator will notify you of the decision, typically in approximately two weeks.

Vol State Faculty/Staff Interested in Grants
All faculty and staff are encouraged to access Grants Management information on the Employee SharePoint Site via the My Vol State portal. You will find grants processes and resources, access to the Grants Management Data Hub, and other grant information providing guidance and support.
