Paying Your Bill

two students standing and smilingFees payable to the Business Office include registration fees, parking tickets, and any fee charged to your student account. Payments may be made in the Business Office or by phone during regular office hours. Payments can also be made online anytime. If paying by phone, your student ID (“V number”) is required. Please see below for accepted payment methods. Be aware, specific student account information can only be discussed with the student due to the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Due Date 

The due date will be approximately one week before the start of the semester. Be sure to check the Academic Calendar for the exact date each semester. If you receive a call, text, or email from the Business Office, you may be at risk of losing your classes for the term. Check your account and take the necessary action.

Note these upcoming dates: 

  • Summer 2024 Fees Due – May 21, 2024
    If you register after this date for Summer 2024, your fees are due the day you register.
  • Fall 2024 Fees Due – August 16, 2024
    If you register after this date for Fall 2024, your fees are due the day you register.

Checking Your Account Balance and Making Payments 

To check your account balance and/or to make online payments:

  • Log into My Vol State (enter your student email address and password).
  • Click on ePayment Gateway (enter student email and password again)
  • Click Continue to direct you to our secure payment site.
  • Click on Make a Payment.
    • Choose pay account balance or amount due or pay by term. 
    • Click on Payment Plan to enroll in the deferred payment plan.

* Electronic checks must be set up at least three days prior to the payment processing to allow time for the bank account information to be verified.
** To make a credit card payment by phone, the student ID number (“V number”) is required.
*** In person payments can be made at the Cashier’s Office on any Vol State campus.

Authorized e-pay Users

You may give others (parents, guardians, employers, etc.) the ability to access your account information through the My Vol State portal. Authorized users may view your account balances and make payments to your account.
