I hope everyone enjoyed the snow we experienced in Middle Tennessee last weekend. I understand that snow amounts can vary depending on your location. For this blog, let’s focus on some official figures specifically for Nashville.

Did you know that Nashville's average snow total for a Winter season is 4.7 inches over the last 30 years? Last weekend, the snowstorm brought 4.5 inches to Music City.

You may be interested to know that the highest winter snowfall in Nashville occurred during the winter of 1959-60 when the city received nearly 39 inches of snow. For those who love snow, it’s worth noting that two of the top five biggest snowstorms in Nashville's history have taken place in February. This gives us hope that we might see more snow this season! Perhaps the groundhog will have some insights to share in a few weeks as well.
