The Radiology class of 2026 at Volunteer State Community College recently held a special event to connect with the class of 2025 in honor of Radiologic Technology Week®. This event served as a bridge between the two cohorts, fostering camaraderie and mentorship while honoring the field's contributions to healthcare.
National Radiologic Technology Week® 2024 (#nrtw24) was celebrated November 3rd - 9th. This year’s theme was “It’s time for us to be seen.” This annual celebration highlights the critical role of radiologic technologists in improving patient care and ensuring health care safety.
During the celebration, the class of 2026 took the opportunity to engage with the class of 2025 in meaningful conversations about their journey through the program. A key focus of these interactions was preparing for the challenges of the second semester. Drawing from their own experiences, the seniors offered valuable advice to their junior peers.
The collaboration reflected their dedication to becoming future leaders in radiology and showcased Volunteer State's commitment to cultivating skilled professionals who prioritize patient well-being and technological excellence. Together, these two classes proudly represented the institution and the bright future of radiologic sciences.
