Drawing blood is one of those things that you want done right. A well-trained and skilled phlebotomist will know how to get it done quickly, safely and with minimal discomfort. Even more importantly, a properly conducted blood test is often critical for a patient diagnosis. A new 10-week phlebotomy course is coming to the Volunteer State Community College Highland Crest campus in Springfield.
Volunteer State Community College is offering two Mechatronics evening courses at the Highland Crest campus in Springfield this coming fall semester. It comes as Vol State expands partnerships with area companies, including Electrolux Home Products. Mechatronics professionals are the experts who design, program, repair, and maintain state-of-the-art robotics and computer-aided equipment in today’s fastest growing industries. Electrolux representatives recently toured the Vol State Mechatronics lab in Gallatin.
