Neither slippery banana peels nor hazardous turtle shells could derail the fun times we had at our Mario Kart eSports tournaments held on August 20th at Gallatin and August 22nd at our Cookeville Campus. Each event was well attended by over 100 community members. The tournaments included both team events and individual races and saw competitors of all ages and experience levels participating at a high level.

Every year, teachers and librarians across the country celebrate Read Across America with students from elementary ages to young adults. This endeavor is all about promoting literacy and encouraging children to read.

A World War II exhibit titled, "Camp Forrest, TN- POW Exhibit: Friend, Enemy, or Frenemy?" is on display now in the Thigpen Library on the Gallatin campus, courtesy of Smith County Historical Tourism Society and The Camp Forrest Foundation. The World War II exhibit was curated by Dr. Elizabeth Taylor, president of The Camp Forrest Foundation.
