VSCC Announces FIU Host Training Site
The Moss School of Construction, Infrastructure and Sustainability at Florida International University is proud to be named a Host Site for select courses offered by the OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center at Volunteer State Community College (VSCC.) The goal of OTIEC courses is to reduce workplace fatalities and injuries by teaching the application of OSHA standards in hazard recognition and prevention. OSHA encourages all OTI Education Centers to establish host sites to provide additional training opportunities within their respective OSHA Region.
The Moss School of Construction, Infrastructure and Sustainability is committed to excel at the preeminent center for advancement and dissemination of construction knowledge. Our motivated students, highly qualified faculty, and dedicated alumni work together to make the program one of the finest in the country. Providing this level OSHA curriculum will further enhance the safety training currently offered and provides a much-needed service to area industries. Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) for OTI Education Center Courses will be provided by VSCC.
