The OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center at Vol State is one of 26 centers comprising a national network of non-profit organizations authorized by OSHA to deliver occupational safety and health training to public and private sector workers, supervisors, and employers.

OTI Education Center Programs are an essential component in OSHA's mission to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities.

VSCC Announces UNF Host Training Site

The OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center at Volunteer State Community College is proud to announce the University of North Florida as a Host Training Organization (HTO).  The OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers are a national network of nonprofit organizations authorized by OSHA to deliver occupational safety and health training to private and public sector workers, supervisors, and employers.  By offering courses and seminars on a variety of safety and health topics, the Centers help to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by providing training on hazard recognition and avoidance to workers, employers, and other safety professionals.

OSHA classes will be conducted at the University of North Florida’s Division of Continuing Education.  OSHA encourages all OTI Education Centers to establish host sites to provide additional training opportunities within their respective OSHA Region.  
The University of North Florida’s Division of Continuing Education is the premier provider of lifelong learning, workforce development and transformative enrichment experiences for the northeast Florida region and beyond.  Providing this level of OSHA training will further enhance the University of North Florida’s Division of Continuing Education vision to be the unrivaled regional provider of professional development, lifelong learning opportunities and customized corporate services that drive economic development and individual success. Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) for OTI Education Center courses will be provided by VSCC.

Classes will be held at UNF Continuing Education, 12000 Alumni Drive,  Adam W Herbert University Center #2146; Jacksonville, FL 32224
