Auxiliary Services Committee

The purpose of the Auxiliary Services Committee is to represent the College community in ensuring the quality of auxiliary services such as bookstore services and food services.

Committee Activities

Monitor and make recommendations concerning the following:

  1. Textbook orders, price, availability.
  2. Book buyback activities.
  3. Supply items available.
  4. Food and beverage selection.
  5. Menu and pricing presentation.
  6. Cleanliness and appearance of the facilities.
  7. Hours of operation.
  8. Quality of service.
  9. Vending services.
  10. Catering services.
  11. Assist with determining specifications for RFPs. 
  12. Evaluate proposals and make recommendations for vendor selection.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to the Vice President for Business and Finance

Membership

  • One (1) representative Financial Aid
  • One (1) representative from Marketing, Communications, and Media Services
  • One (1) representative from Advancement
  • One (1) classified staff representative
  • One (1) faculty representative
  • One (1) Dean or Assistant Dean
  • One (1) representative from a regional campus
  • At-large member: One (1)
  • Coordinator of Veterans Affairs and Adult Learners
  • Student representation: Two (2)

Total membership: 11

Ex-Officio: Manager of the Bookstore; Representative from food services vendor; Vice President for Academic Affairs; Assistant Vice President for Business and Finance; Vice President for Student Services, Coordinator of Purchasing and Contracts
