Promotion and Tenure Committee

The purpose of the Promotion and Tenure Committee is to review faculty applications for promotion and/or tenure and make recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Committee Activities

  1. Review applications for faculty promotion and tenure.
  2. Make recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
  3. Maintain academic policy regarding promotion and tenure.

Reporting Relationships

Reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs

Membership

One (1) tenured faculty member from each academic division

Total membership: 5

Ex-Officio: Vice President for Academic Affairs

NOTE: This committee is not populated by the College Steering Committee. Appointments are made by the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
