Vol State has more than 100 academic programs in five major divisions. We offer hundreds of classes in a variety of times, locations and formats. In addition to traditional degree and certificate programs, we also offer non-credit continuing education classes, opportunities to serve our community, travel-study, and work-based learning.
Within our academic programs is a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. Vol State seeks to educate and prepare our students for local and global environments which are increasingly more inclusive. We seek intellectual diversity, diverse ways of learning, diverse sources of information and facts, and diversity in dialogue when considering and debating academic subjects.
The goal of Vol State is to cultivate dynamic, diverse, and inclusive academic environments where students from all backgrounds may contribute to an intellectually diverse community and feel their voices are heard, and their contributions are considered and valued.
