Volunteer State Community College offers an A.A.S. degree in Mechatronics in Gallatin and Cookeville.

Mechatronics is the blending of engineering fields including mechanical, controls, electronic and computer engineering to automate manufacturing, distribution and complex services through multiple industries.

The Mission of the Mechatronics Program

The mission of the Mechatronics Technology program at Vol State is to provide students with the academic knowledge and practical experience necessary to prepare them for employment as highly skilled mechatronics technicians. This program is designed for students interested in getting into the workforce quickly with the technical skills that employers demand.
