The City of Gallatin is a very desirable location with a fast growing community of more than 30,000 residents. It’s an energetic small city set 30 miles north of Nashville.
The City of Gallatin is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Department. This is a 15+ hours per week, day shift position with no weekend work required. This position does not include any City benefits. The starting rate is $12 per hour. This position will be needed for approximately 4 months starting in March.

At a minimum, applicants must have a High School Diploma/Equivalent. Applicant must have a comprehensive knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and secretarial techniques. The ability to type at a reasonable rate of speed, and to use Microsoft Word & Excel proficiently are required.
The successful candidate must be highly organized, capable of working independently with respect to routine matters, demonstrate the ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public, must be responsible and able to maintain confidentiality, and must communicate with the public courteously and tactfully.
